Educator of the Year Gala
Presented by Belle Chasse Rotary Club Foundation Inc, the Plaquemines Parish Educator of the Year Gala is a prestigious celebration honoring the outstanding educators and school personnel of Plaquemines Parish Schools. This event highlights the exceptional contributions of teachers, leaders, and staff who dedicate their lives to shaping the future of our students and schools.
At the Gala, honorees are recognized for their achievements at the school level, where they have been selected as an Educator of the Year in their respective categories. These nominees are then considered for the esteemed district-level awards, which will be announced during the event. Categories include Teacher of the Year, New Teacher of the Year, Principal of the Year, Early Childhood Teacher and Leader of the Year, School Health Service Provider of the Year, and Support Person of the Year.
This meaningful occasion, funded by The Couvillion Group Teacher of the Year Endowment and supported by additional sponsors, serves as both a recognition of school-based winners and the naming of the district-level honorees who exemplify excellence in education.
