Child Search

Child Search is an effort to identify children ages three through twenty-one suspected of having an exceptionality that may qualify for and be in need of special education and related services not currently enrolled in a Plaquemines Parish Public School.

Does your child appear to have delays in physical development (walking, seeing, hearing), cognitive development (learning skills or problem solving), social and emotional development (playing with others, showing feelings), adaptive development (feeding, getting dressed), and/or communication (speaking, listening, articulating speech sounds)

The following disabilities may be eligible for special education and related services under IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Act):
