Educational Diagnostician (North Team)

Renée is a Nationally Certified Educational Diagnostician. She specializes in evaluating students for either disabilities or gifted exceptionalities. She is experienced in formal and informal academic assessments, learning styles, educational interventions, staff development, and special/regular education support. Renée has worked in the Plaquemines Parish Public School System since 1993. Prior to becoming an Educational Diagnostician, she served the parish as a special education teacher for 11 years and Educational Strategist for 3 years, implementing the Response to Intervention model in the schools. Renée has served on the Board of the Louisiana Educational Diagnosticians Association (currently Louisiana Association of Educational Diagnosticians) as a Regional Representative, Secretary, Vice-President, and President. She has also served on the National Certification of Educational Diagnosticians’ Board of Directors.
