School Psychologist (Districtwide)
Reanna Ranatza is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist from Ama, Louisiana. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Nicholls State University in 2021. She received her Specialist Degree in School Psychology in 2024. Reanna pursued a career in school psychology because of her love for children and special education. Reanna worked full time as a School Psychologist Intern for Jefferson Parish Public School System (2023-2024). She is excited to continue her career working for Plaquemines Parish School Board. As a school psychologist, Reanna consults with team members to discuss students who are struggling academically/ behaviorally. She recommends interventions and helps monitor student progress to determine whether a 504 Plan or IEP is sufficient for student improvement. Reanna administers cognitive assessments and assists during the data collection process in determining eligibility for student support services. In her free time, Reanna enjoys all things outdoors, spending time with her family/ fur-babies, and cooking.
