Gifted and Talented
Students who demonstrate high academic and intellectual aptitude or possess extraordinary talent in the visual or performing arts may be eligible for differentiated instruction. The goal of Plaquemines Parish Public Schools is to provide quality K-12 instruction to enhance the educational experiences and maximize the learning potential of these students through a specialized instructional program called an IEP.
Individuals can speak with a teacher, administrator, or the District Gifted and Talented Coordinator, Jeanne Claire Saucer, if they have questions about the screening and evaluation process or would like to refer a student for consideration for either the Gifted or Talented program.
