GRADUATION EXERCISES

No students will be allowed to participate in commencement exercises until they have successfully completed all graduation requirements for either a regular or alternative certificate as presented by the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education.  Special Education students must meet all program requirements to receive a certificate of completion and participate in commencement exercises.

1. Students who have not completed all graduation requirements, including passing the required components of the Graduation Exit Exam, by the date approved by the Plaquemines Parish School Board to dismiss seniors from school may not participate in graduation exercises.  All grades from correspondence courses must be in the Principal's office by the above date.
   
   

2. All students shall be present for all practice sessions in order to participate in graduation exercises.
   
   

3. Adult education students may not participate in regular graduation exercises.
