2024 PPSB Holiday Card Art Contest

What do you love about Plaquemines Parish and what does it mean to you?

Superintendent, Dr. Shelley Ritz, invites students to submit their artwork to be featured on the official 2024 Plaquemines Parish School Board holiday card! Artwork should capture the unique spirit of the holiday season in Plaquemines Parish and reflect what the parish means to you.

The winning art will be featured on the cover of the official 2024 PPSB holiday card, and displayed at the Central Office and satellite offices. The winner will be recognized at the School Board meeting in December.

We can’t wait to see the creativity, joy and love for our parish that our talented students bring to life through their art!

Details

• Artists must be a student at one of the nine Plaquemines Parish School Board schools.
• All art mediums and styles accepted, including digital submissions
• Submitted artwork must be original, distinctive in design, color and subject matter, and appropriate for public viewing by all ages
• The ideal artwork will be scalable to a printed card of 5x7 inches
• Digital submissions should be high-resolution (300 dpi or higher) and submitted through the online submission form. Acceptable formats are PNG and JPG.
• Physical submissions may be submitted through uploading an image through the online submission form and dropped off at the front desk of the Woodland Central Office, 1484 Woodland Highway, Belle Chasse, during business hours: Monday through Friday 7:30 am – 3:00 pm. • All submissions are due by Wednesday, November 20, at 3:00 PM.
