SUPERINTENDENT QUALIFICATIONS
The Plaquemines Parish School Board shall elect a Superintendent for the school system who has met or has been certified as meeting the requirements for superintendency certification as set by the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE). Additional qualifications may be stipulated by the Board.
Applicants for the position of Superintendent shall be required to provide assurance that certification for the position is current and valid.
