Young Audiences Entertains Young Audiences

Second grade students at Belle Chasse Primary, a Blue Ribbon School, were treated to a live performance called "Library Travels" by Characters 2 from Young Audiences on Friday, December 15, 2006.  Thanks to a grant concerning "Literacy Through Storytelling" students throughout the school will benefit from a wide variety of live performances provided by Young Audiences throughout the school year.  This program is supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council as administered by the Arts Council of New Orleans.
