BCHS's Project Thunderbird

(Chris Guillot, in center with white baseball cap,  Mad Mike, and Doug Schilling)

When the students at Belle Chasse High School learned that their classmate, senior Chris Guilliot, had cancer, they knew that they wanted to help.

They decided that they wanted to grant a wish for Chris.  Chris' wish was to fix up his old Thunderbird.  Little did he know what would happen.

Classmates held a dance and other fund raisers to raise money to fix the car.  Dubbed "Project Thunderbird", art teacher,  Gina Fitch, commissioned her son and his car group to overhaul the car.  But it didn't stop there.  Mad Mike from MTV's "Pimp My Ride" was invited to present the car to Chris.

Belle Chasse H.S. students should be very proud of themselves for a project well-done.

The Thunderbird!
