SPHS Quiz Bowl Team Places 1st at Regional Meet

South Plaquemines High School Quiz Bowl Team placed 1st in LAAC Division 4 Regional Meet at Family Christian Academy in Baton Rouge. This win qualifies the team to compete at the Louisisana Association For Academic Competition in Natchitoches on April 5.  Seniors Austin Barbin, Courtney Barthelemy, Matthew Slavich (Captain), Cindy Tong and junior Brent Aucoin are pictured. Kitty Vodopija PPSB transportation and Michael Cox accompanied and supported the team.  Elaine Cox coaches the SPHS team.
