Phoenix High School Junior Beta Students Are Winners

Phoenix High School Junior Beta students are winners in the District 11 Junior Beta Day competitions held at Riverdale Middle School on January 20, 2007. Shari Narcisse placed 3rd in the Spelling Bee Competition and Kiedra Brocks placed 1st in the Creative Writing competition. 15 area schools were represented in the competitions. Shari and Kiedra will now advance to the Junior Beta State competition which will be in Lafayette in May.
