BCP LEAPS Into Success!

Fourth grade students at Belle Chasse Primary, a Blue Ribbon School, were treated to a performance called "LEAP Into Success!" by Frank Levy, an internationally known performer, from Young Audiences on Friday, March 16, 2007.  Positive strategies and great encouragement for success on the test were the order of the day. Thanks to a grant concerning "Literacy Through Storytelling" students throughout the school continue to benefit from a wide variety of live performances provided by Young Audiences throughout the school year.  This program is supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council as administered by the Arts Council of New Orleans.
