Mission Statement

The mission of the Plaquemines Parish School System is to provide a quality education in a safe and comfortable environment that is both fair and equitable to all students. The Plaquemines Parish School System will provide maximum learning experiences for all students thus enabling them to become competent, self-reliant, citizens who will be able to make valuable contributions in a democratic society. Our quality educational process will allow students the opportunity to make sound decisions, and to become future leaders who are highly competitive in our ever-changing world.
