BCHS Alumni Association Quarterly
* If you have not
joined the Alumni, do so now. It’s your
school too. Be proud of it. New Alumni shirts are now on sale. To order your shirts contact Alumni President
Lisa Cotham at lisacot@earthlink.net .
* To make it easier for those who have to travel, the Alumni
will have the Spring Social on Saturday, May 24 in conjunction with the Seafood
Festival in Belle Chasse. There will be
a short meeting at 5:00 p.m. behind the Alumni booth. An Agenda will be handed out prior to the
meeting. The Alumni will not be
providing food or drinks for this Social since there will be plenty of both at
the festival.
* If any of you own, work or have access to a store to where
we can buy our supplies for the festival at cost or have them donated, please contact
us at bchsaa@cox.net
ASAP. We will be frying Oreo
cookies. So we’ll need things like
Oreo’s, vegetable oil, pancake mix, 6” Styrofoam plates, paper boats or hotdogs
trays, gloves, etc...
* Plans are being made for the ’08 Fall Alumni Reunion. The
Alumni plans to attend the Homecoming Game on Friday October 3rd and
to have an Alumni Reunion at the old
Auditorium on Saturday October 4th.

* The Students applying for the Alumni Scholarships have
sent in their applications. Now it's
time for the Alumni to hold up our end of the commitment, and that's to raise
the money to fund the scholarships. If
you can't send a donation, please sign up to work the booth. The Scholarship will be given in mid-May, so
send your donations ASAP. Make checks
payable to Belle Chasse High School
Alumni Association or to BCHSAA. Donate
what you can, $5, $10, $20 or any amount.
